Designed in Chinese Imperial Palace style and built in the early 1920's, the museum offers exhibitions and changing displays of objects from its permanent collection. The museum contains a Chinese courtyard garden, a contemporary Asian Arts gallery, a children's gallery and a research library. Foyer gallery features contemporary works by Asian or Asian-inspired artists. Display changes every six weeks. Children under 12 and museum members are free. Admission free to all on the third Saturday of each month. Current exhibitions: The Prints of Paul Jacoulet Revisited (through 2/15/98) Ceramics from the Lydman, Snukal and Otto Collections, runs indefinitely.
